Snow Snow Snow

At last this morning when I ventured out there was Snow. I could not wait to go out for my morning walk.The woods were covered in a light sprinkling of snow , it was as if some one had got a sieve out and shook icing sugar all over the trees and paths.I dashed along the path in front of Caz to check for deer, there are loads out a the moment. Unfortunately there was no prancing Bambi so I carried on my walk making sure I jumped and snorted in the puddles after breaking the thin top of ice.Even Caz looked happy with a spring in her step.The birds were out singing and at one point I thought we were being stocked by The predator but thankfully it was only a wood pecker( if you have seen the film the predator you will no what I mean).When we got back to the car we saw 5 deer dash across the field in front of us.They went so fast and was so gracefuland then they dissapeared into the woods.
This afternoon all the snow had gone and I think that was probably the one and only time we will see it until next year. Well at least we got to see a bit.
Caz did not take any photo's forgot the camara, hope she takes some soon mind you I'm not looking my best at the mo, in fact Chris calls me scruff. I've heard caz say I'm going to get stripped at the end of this month. A week in the cellar on that make shift table WHAT FUN!!!!!

The Milky bar kid

I sometimes post my favourite adverts and today I thought I would share this one with you all.
There has always been milky bar adverts and i remember them from a child. I love this one. MAKE SURE YOU LISTEN TO THE ANIMALS IN THE BACK GROUND THEY ACTUALLY SING THE TUNE FAMOUS FOR THIS ADVERT.

We are soooooooooooo Proud

Last week end was a very exciting time for us. We went over to England to watch William at his passing in parade. This is where he changes his cap badge from The Harrogate Army Foundation college's own badge, to the one he will ware when he reaches his regiment.

It was a lovely day not only did we get to spend the whole day with William, including a presentation.We also looked around the college, including his room which he shares with 12 other people, but we spent the whole day with the Thuglets parent's.
We met them for breakfast first in Harrogate then they spent the day with us while watching William.

We were able to catch up with the Thuglets parents as we had not seen them in a while and ofcourse show off our very handsome son.



William march's onto the square in 27 platoon Alamien company.










After marching onto the square they all have to make sure they are in correct straight ranks.



Formed correct Ranks and waiting for the Commanding officer to arrive to start the parade.





This part of the parade is what all the hard work of the last 6 weeks has been about and now he is waiting for the command to take his berrie which holds the badge of the Harrogate Army Foundation College, which William has worn since arriving. We were all watching as he changed over cap badges and felt very proud.

At the end of the parade after marching off the square they marched back infront of us, to fall out.



It was such a brilliant day and we were able to bring William back with us for a weeks leave,which he definately deserves.
We were so proud of William and I'm sure Mr and Mrs Thuglets will agree he has grown into a very mature and Hardworking Man.

I found this photo today of Bramble and his soul mate Bracken.
These two were inseperateable from the day he arrived with us a 8 weeks.
Ludo took Brackens place when she passed on.
William looks so young in this photo can't beleive he is in the army now.

I helped with the furry things

Today I helped Chris cut down all the furry things that live on storks at the end of the garden.
Due to the driving wind over the past months they had all blown over to one side. They there leaves are like razor's and can cut your hands if you are not careful. So I took charge and showed Chris how to do it.

Grabbed one of the furry critters and tackled it down to the ground.

Just the fluffy bit left,I having that before it goes in the bin.




Well after picking up all the bits that I mananged to spread the lenght of the garden.We came in and warmed up. Its quite bare now at the end of the garden but at least we can now get out the back gate with out being attacked by the furry things.
