Weihnactsmarkt.

Saturday we went for the first time this Xmas to the market. Its a huge market and stretches in 2 parts of the town. The stalls are full of food, you could work your way along and each stall is different I had garlic mushrooms, they hit the spot, followed by apple doughnuts.Chris had chicken livers and onion's, not my taste. There were hog roasts, bratties, noodles, deep fried cauliflower which is delicious and lots and lots of gluwine stalls.
This was the first of many nights to come down the market its on until Xmas week.
Hope you enjoy the photo's. We did not take Ludo as its just to busy, with loads of people.

Our favourite gluwine stall, the people were all stood in front of the stall with there hot gluwine and biscuit's yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy

Bird house's and children's wooden toys.

more sweets

A nativity scene ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm looked like the rest of the year they have jobs as shop manikins.

These chocolate cakes are called DICKS in Germany we laughed when we saw they had put a sign on one hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Christmas decoration stalls they were beautiful.

The giant nutcracker

We took this on our way to the second part of the market.

We even made a new friend.

A few gluwines later, Jayne Steve Chris and I are getting in the Christmas spirit.

This is a large replica of a German ornament which is displayed as a center piece of a table, the windmill goes around from the heat of the candles placed all around the bottom.

A good night out and ofcourse would not be the same with out ending with some large beers.

Caz.

Hey, look at you, I am a native german and I can learn from you how these chocolate-covered-cream-things are called nowadays ("Dicks"). Isn't it amazing? Glad you had fun, I am not a big fan of Weihnachtsmarkt myself...
